Biological Sales Associate Program

Sanofi Pasteur’s Biological Sales Associate Program (BSA) is an entry level sales development program that develops recent college graduates in the field of vaccine sales. This Program consists of 3 developmental phases: in-house training, outbound sales responsibility based at our home office in Swiftwater, PA and a field externship period where the selected candidate would backfill one of our Vaccine Specialist positions anywhere in the US.

Location: Swiftwater, PA for the first half of program; willingness to relocate anywhere in the US upon completion

Duration: 12 months with the ultimate goal of having the candidate earn a promotion to a permanent position as a Vaccine Specialist within our field sales force

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Industrial Operations Associate Program

Sanofi Pasteur’s Industrial Operations Associate Program (IOAP) is an entry level leadership development program to develop people and team skills for recent college graduates identified as technically competent, continuous learners, and potential leaders. The Program provides an opportunity to gain a broad overview of the Industrial Operations (IO) at the Swiftwater, PA site during a two year period by rotation assignments within the Industrial Operations organization.

Location: Swiftwater, Pennsylvania

Duration: 24-month development program including 4, 6-9 month assignments through several areas of Industrial Operations. Rotations include but are not limited to Manufacturing, Site Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Site Services & Engineering, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Materials Management, Industrial Performance, and Finance.

Information Technology & Solutions Rotational Development Program

Throughout the Information Technology & Solutions Rotational Development Program (ITS-RDP), participants will rotate through three assignments within Sanofi US’s Information Technology & Solutions (ITS) organization with the goal of gaining cross-functional insight into our ITS business operations. Upon completion of the program, participants are expected to transition into a functional area and role that capitalizes on their strengths and aligns with the needs of the business.

While executing on assignments, the participant will gain experience in many facets of our business with the opportunity to develop their skills through challenging and meaningful assignments. Potential rotations include: Business Partnerships, Program & Project Management, Strategy & Architecture, Solution Delivery & Support, Security, Quality & Compliance, and Portfolio Investment Management. Additionally, participants will benefit from ongoing training.

Location: Bridgewater, NJ only or Rotations across both Cambridge and Westborough, MA

Duration: 2 years; each rotation will be a minimum of 6 to 8 months

Marketing & Sales Associate Program

Throughout this three-year rotational development program, Associates will rotate though three assignments within Sanofi Pasteur and gain experience in many facets of our business with the opportunity to develop their skills through intensive rotational assignments within Marketing & Sales. Potential rotations include: Phone Sales (BSR), Field Sales, Product Marketing, Public Health, Analytical Services, Training and Marketing & Sales Operations. Participants will gain cross-functional insight into our Commercial business operations. Additionally, Associates will participate in ongoing training and leadership development classes.

Location: Swiftwater, PA (Home Base); Field Sales rotation to occur nationwide

Marketing & Sales Associate Program – VaxServe

The Associate will rotate through five assignments throughout the Marketing and Sales organization for approximately three years, with each rotation lasting 5-10 months. Areas of rotation may include Sales, Product Marketing, Analytical Services, Finance, Market Research, Operations, Pricing, etc. Upon completion of the program, Associates will continue in a management development curriculum.

Location: Moosic, PA (Home Base); Field Sales rotation to occur nationwide

Duration: 3 year rotational development program

PharmD Fellowships

Sanofi US and Sanofi Genzyme partners with Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS University) and Rutgers University to offer PharmD Fellowships that are intended to provide a comprehensive experience for Doctor of Pharmacy graduates within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Commercial MBA Leadership Development Program

Our Genzyme Commercial MBA Leadership Development Program (C-LDP) aims to develop a leadership pipeline of top talent. The Program provides in-depth training over two years through commercially-focused rotations across the Genzyme business units, with the opportunity to work with both US and Global teams. Rotations are strategic, challenging and meaningful, providing an opportunity to make an impact in the lives of patients around the globe. The C-LDP launches your career to the next level through a targeted approach.

Rotations will be mapped to strategic commercial functions, including marketing, market access, market research, sales, business development and strategic initiatives. Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Develop long-term strategic view of disease area portfolio
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a brand strategy and the tactical plan to support it
  • Identify and communicate best practices across markets and functions
  • Develop, track and be responsible for programs, tactics and key performance metrics for a brand
  • Conduct market research to inform brand strategies and tactics
  • Contribute to various analytical and strategic projects (e.g., pricing, market models, forecasting)
  • Drive business development activities, including: diligence, modeling, business case development, company or market research, deal negotiation, etc.
  • Perform financial valuation and strategic analysis of new opportunities

    Management Associate Program

    Over the course of 2-3 years, Management Associates (MAP) gain broad exposure and contribute to various functional areas of Sanofi Pasteur’s Commercial Operations organization by completing US-based and potential international rotations in areas such as Field Sales, Marketing, Immunization Policy, Strategic Planning, etc. Rotations are designed to last 9-12 months. Upon completion of the program, the Associate typically graduates into a management-level position.

    Location: Swiftwater, PA (home base); Field Sales rotational opportunities exist nationwide; potential opportunities exist for international assignments

    Duration: 2-3 years; rotations last 9-12 months

    Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

    Sanofi R&D works with passion to understand and solve some of the world’s most difficult biomedical problems facing patients and their healthcare providers. One of our assets in this quest are Postdoctoral Fellows, who bring an energy and desire to learn to this shared passion. As part of Sanofi’s Global Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, the North American opportunities offer a comprehensive training program that provides Fellows the opportunity to advance their scientific careers in a leading-edge environment and contribute to Sanofi’s effort to bring transformative solutions to patient’s most urgent medical needs. Postdoctoral Fellows will undertake research or development activities within one of Sanofi’s R&D organizations.
